Alyssa (alyssaisreading) Here we can talk about books we would like the group to read in September. Please keep it to first books in a series unless we have read the first book as a group in a previous month.

Recommend as many books as you want, the ones that come up most often will be put into a poll.

I am suggesting:

Crewel by Gennifer Albin
The Pledge by Kimberly Derting
Across the Universe by Beth Ravis
Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard

Leigh (bibliosky) (leighsalv) -Transparent by Natalie Whipple
-Torn by David Massey
-Ink by Amanda Sun

message 3: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Crewel by Gennifer Albin
Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
Pivot Point by Kasie West

Gah, Alise and I both read INK. Wasn't that fantastic. All the other suggestions I haven't read yet.

My sister has been bugging me to read Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter. Plus I also have to read (from memory:)

Cinder by Melissa Meyer
Ruby Red by Kiersten Gier
Partials by Dan Wells
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

And many others I can't even remember what's on my TBR anymore/I don't know if I've read or not. I also want to reread Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas and Across the Universe at some point.

Andrea Ooh, I could get behind Throne of Glass

I loved it.

I forgot to add I'd love an excuse to buy Pivot Point. I'm desperate to read that. I think I want to read Something Strange and Deadly too.

message 7: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (alyssaisreading) Yeah I would also love to read Throne of Glass.

Tressa (Wishful Endings) | 17 comments I've read Throne of Glass (actually just got the second book) and Across the Universe, but I could always take a break from the group. September and October are pretty busy for me. These are the ones my vote would go for since I already need to read them and would like to as well:
Ruby Red
Pivot Point
Something Strange and Deadly
All Our Yesterdays

message 10: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (alyssaisreading) Something strange, poison, and all our yesterdays are good for me. I'll make the poll soon.

message 11: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (alyssaisreading) Made the poll, it's on the group homepage.

That was a hard poll to answer. SO MANY BOOKS I WANT TO READ

message 13: by Andrea (new)

Andrea I feel your pain. I almost had to eeny-miney-mo it.

When does the poll close?

message 14: by Laura (new)

Laura AP | 28 comments I already read ToG and SS&D, they're both great. Ended up voting for Partials, but whichever we end up chosing is good for me :)

message 15: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (alyssaisreading) September 2nd, I believe. But if there is a clear winner, we will decide sooner :)

It was quite a close vote, lots of books tied. Partials won by one vote! I'll make the discussion sections and what not after my exam this morning.
