So, which books do you know that are night vale-esque?

I, for one, strongly recommend The Weird: A Compendium of Strange and Dark Stories. They're short stories, so maybe we could read some of them here.

Maybe we should put a folder on piecing together the city, the writing style, the dramatic irony and what it is to be Carlos, a human being with a different definition of right, wrong, scary and violent.))

Serena | 13 comments Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, is a book series which unlike the TV show puts the urges of Dexter on his 'Dark Passenger' and pulls the series into the eerie wake between real and unreal.
