What better way than to find out about many of the characters in the Batman series than to read a story that touches on many of them. In the forward, the director of the more recent Batman movies, the ones with Christian Bale as Batman, discusses how this story had a lot of influence on the look and feel of the movies. Good read for anyone trying to get into the Batman stories.

I just finished it up and it was AMAZING! I've just recently gotten into graphic novels, and I'm loving them so far. This was great, though. I'm going to have to write up a review.
