It was a beautiful, bright sunny Saturday. Melody had ambled into the forest with the fifth Harry Potter book to read. She climbed into the sturdy branch of her favorite tree. She always knew which free was hers by the obscure marking that she had carved to math the birthmark on her back. She sat in a small nook of the tree and began to read.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) James strolled through the woods where it wasn't as sunny. He had a cigarette between his lips that was smoldering slightly. James's hand were shoved into his pockets because despite it being August and sunny, the Moss Beach weather was quite chilly. He shrugged and looked at the sky through the gaps in the trees. It was unusual to have sunny weather on the coast. It was usually much colder and very foggy.

(How old is James and what is he?)

Melody cringed when she heard footsteps. Not a lot of people ventured out into the woods. She hid herself a bit but peeked her head out of the branches. After a few seconds of not seeing anyone she climbed higher up. She looked out again.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) ((20- Werewolf))

James was acutely aware of someone climbing around in the trees. It was probably some kid goofing off thinking they could scare him or something. He sneered and pulled his hand out of his pocket to flick ash off the end of his cigarette. He was careful about where the ash went so he wouldn't set anything on fire.

Melody noticed how the footsteps stopped. They seemed close by. She slid down the tree a tad and peeked bough the branches again. She looked but saw nothing.
