Do you have a favorite fictional female heroine/character? Why?

[Julia Griffis - The Romance Bibliophile]

My all-time favorite fictional female heroine/character is Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. She is strong-willed and independent, humorous and witty, intelligent, sweet and considerate, and is graciously willing to sacrifice herself to save the ones she loves and cares deeply about. I also love that she is described as an avid reader because I could just about spend all of my time reading:)
