Rae WARNING, MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!

I don't know about you guys but I'm seriously fed up with America. At the moment I feel as though the whole series could be squashed into one book. Am I also the only one who thinks Maxon deserves better than a cheating, lying you know what? At the moment, I really hate America!

S.K. Munt oh no I can't read it yet!!! I can't believe she gets more annoying!
I'm only loving it because of Maxon

I thought that everything I liked about her character just got shot to hell. She just became whiny and jealous over the simplest of things.

Brittany (Brittany's Book Rambles) I was really disappointed in America in this book. Although, I can't stand what Maxon did, I can understand considering all the back-and-forth things she was doing. Honestly, I was shocked that he was still wanting her after everything she did. That's real love, because there was more than one occasion where I had to walk away from this book because I just couldn't stand her. Which is sad, because I really liked her in the first book.

Annie I was disappointed with America too. She keeps going back and forth between the two. You think she might have finally figured it out, but then she switches back again. She keeps leading either Aspen or Maxon on then she ignores them and starts going for the other one. She really needs to figure it out. If Maxon falls in love with someone else if he gets tired of waiting for her and Aspen falls for someone else too because he gives up and thinks she likes Maxon then she could end up losing both of them.

Jam I'm not siding with America, but she has valid reasons, too. Okay, At first.
May we just recall that America was already okay with Maxon, but just then, our prince pulled back, leaving America even more confused. And considering her personality, he'd want to make sure that she made the right choice for herself, which kind of makes her selfish. However, I'd like to emphasize that I don't like the leading couple right now (Maxon and America) for two reasons:

1. I think America is REALLY not a queen material. But I bet she'll make a good president, so for that matter, her marrying Maxon and becoming a part of the royalty is a no no. They don;t really suit each other right now.

2. They're both selfish. In the end, they're just two lonely humans who want the attention for themselves. Both of them want to be loved, but they don't really put the same effort into loving someone else. Like the case with Maxon, he's making America commit herself to him, but he doesn't want to do the same. He wants to keep Kriss so he can be sure that he'll be loved in the end. He's keeping a spare tire! I know it sounds normal, but is that really how you want to make someone choose you? And is that really the best way to treat your loved one?

Soo no, I don't really like either of them right now.

Brittany Bardman I am just SO fed up with both Maxon and America. The only reason I am looking foreword to the One is to see what happens.

Rida Sajid I would have liked it if Maxon had a better reason for spending time with cleste. "if she is using me then i should use her too". doesnt sound like a gentelman to me. and i think that Aspen is cheating on America, I think the fight between marry and anna was over him.

S.K. Munt oh dear it's so hard not to read this...I'm only one chapter in!

Oh my God. Yes, what if Aspen is "cheating" on her with Lucy. God, it's so weird. I need to see character developments in the next book.

And actually, I think the prince is just being a teenager right now since this is the first time he's ever had the chance to date girls. Uh-oh, impending jerk alert.

I wanted more of a reason for Maxon spending time with Cleste. But, I can't say I blame him since America kept toying with his emotions. She hasn't even told him about Aspen.

And if Aspen is seeing someone else on the side, could it really be considered cheating since America has turned him down twice? They aren't really a couple so I don't think it could be counted as cheating.

Either way, neither of these guys deserve the games America is playing. At this point, I hope she better come up with something to redeem herself because otherwise I hope she doesn't get with either of these guys.

Kandice Brittany wrote: "I wanted more of a reason for Maxon spending time with Celeste. But, I can't say I blame him since America kept toying with his emotions. She hasn't even told him about Aspen."

I completely agree. America should have at least told Maxon about Aspen when he first arrived at the palace. I like America but she seriously needs to think about what she's been doing.

And she definitely needs to redeem herself. I really hope that The One is worth the wait.

Oumaima Bendjama i stopped reading , i just got into a point where i really hated America , and i just couldn't feel any connection with the book , it is SO NOT REAL EVEN FOR A FICTION ,, all this love triangles x(

this was an incredibly irritating sequel....America was soo irrating, stringing both guys along, then acting like a brat when maxon tries to move on...very stupid...if they want to do ANOTHER love triangle they should at least make the characters likable...

Rida Sajid I agree wiyh you all Brittany, Jam and Bookworm. I dont like America for cheating on Maxon, it would have been better if she would've treated Aspen just like a friend. I am also tierd of her shifting sides but I've decied to have some faith in author in this matter. but America turns to Aspen because she still has a little love in her heart for him, she is not using him. But Maxon is using Cleste like a toy
