kate This is the best Chaim Potok book I've read... it's so dark but so powerful and moving.

McStephanie I read this last year, and enjoyed it so much. I read a lot of Potok in my adolescence, but this was the first book of his that I read as an adult. I remember the Korean war being a blip in my history book in between WWII and Vietnam. This book brought that time to life, and it was much needed history lesson for me.

Nina I have enjoyed all the Chaim Potok books I have read to date - I so much want to enjoy this one, but get lost in the analogies, Kabalah and vissiona. Looking for more insights and comments.
