Margaret Everett This book was really good. The German General over Paris liked Paris. This is about his trouble with Hitler over the city.

Deale Hutton LOVED this book. I just spent time in Paris, and then read the book. I stood on the spot that Hitler stood, which is sort of upsetting, but I loved the history which I did not know.

Gerald Churchill Fans of "Is Paris Burning?" might like another book that has been written on the liberation of Paris. It is Michael Neiberg's "The Blood of Free Men." It was published last year.

Deale Hutton Will try that one.

Cateline I read it many years ago, and loved it. Must reread....I've forgotten most of the details.
