Please chime in with your nominations for the next book that the group will read and we'll vote on it after the current book is completed.

Well I've put some thought into it, still haven't come up with anything yet.

"March" by Geraldine Brooks is one of my favorite books in the last couple of years. My book club from work has yet to vote to read it - so I'm itching to discuss it with someone!

Rachel (wildhoney) I also think it would be interesting to read "World Without End" after completing "The Pillars of the Earth", but I am not sure that I will be able to read two very long books back to back!

"The Venetian Betrayal" by Steve Berry is the book I propose. It was on the best seller list during the holidays and I believe it still is listed, just not in the top ten anymore. It's in my "to read" pile and I'd love to have a group to discuss it with. It seems to be a historical fiction mystery dealing with Alexander the Great.

Okay - so I was at the library again and BAM! in my face was a book I've wanted to read but yet left without it. Then I was reading something else and a friend of mine said it was her favorite book. So, I'm gonna toss out there - "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. And now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure my step sister read it and liked it.

Bree (coffeebeanbookshelf) Not really sure what type of books that the group is going for - but I went looking through my books and decided to nominate The Savior by Eugene Drucker. Here's the link: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
