Oh wow, I changed my mind then. I'll try It first. It seems more ominous and grisly, I love that kind of vibe.
Anyway, I think I understood what you were saying about King's weakness in ending his story. I love The Stand but I personally think the ending is dangerously close to being Deus ex Machina. What do you think?

I read the Name of the Wind and the romance ruined it for me :( Too bad, since Rothfuss is a good writer. Does the sequel has lots of romance too?
I actually plan to read Liveship Trader but do you think I will like the romance plot? I'm not really into romance plot in fantasy (or any other genre except if it is a romance novel).

Since the romance is part of characters interacting with each other, I don't think it will ruin the story.
I myself always look for romance in fantasy, but don't like reading romance novels.
I read three books about 'monster' this year: Last Night I Sang to the Monster by Benjamin Alire Saènz, Delicate Monsters by Stephanie Kuehn and Patric Ness's A Monster Calls which I love all of 'em.Could anyone here suggest me what should I read next which I probably loved it? It doesn't need to have word 'monster' in the title, but have a quite same theme.
Thank you for the recommendations and sorry for my poor English :)
Reza wrote: "I've actually heard about the "sex with godesses!" part of KKC. I guess it's true.."That's the eeeeewwwwwww-est part of the book. This second book is definitely below the first one in terms of quality. But if you LOVE the first book, you can just ignore the yucky parts and enjoy the rest (like I did).
