Kimberly | 35 comments 7. Lying Awake by Salzman -- Loved this book. Its a beautiful, moving story.
8. Mortified 2 - comical, and makes me not want to ever be a teenage ever again. I would love to attend a reading of this book by the writers.

Kimberly | 35 comments 15. Veils by Nahid Rachlin - This parallels her memoir, Persian Girls, quite nicely. It is a book of short stories that portray the many problems in Iran.

17. The Reader - I particularly enjoyed this book. Although disturbing at times, it was a sad and wonderful story. I highly recommened it!

Kimberly | 35 comments 22. Tweak by Nic Sheff -- No literary masterpiece, but an excellent book to read. It digs deep into the world of an addict, and it is horrifying, sad, and beautiful all at the same time.

Abby I had no idea Marc Acito had come out with a new book, so when I saw it at the store, I just had to get it! Is it as good as How I Paid for College?

Kimberly | 35 comments You know, I didnt read How I Paid For College, but I really enjoyed Attack of the Theater People. I laughed out loud many times and enjoyed all of the characters. I am not that big on fiction but would definitely consider picking up his first book. He is very creative and fun!

Kimberly | 35 comments 48. Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk - regardless of everyone else's reviews I liked this book. Yes - it all happens during the making of a porn but the story is much deeper than that and the porn story line is just secondary.
