Charlotte (charlottethalia) This is going to be a great challenge! I would really like suggestions, please.

. . . so far I have completed (in order) . . .

1. The Secret Life of Cowboys
Tom Groneberg
2. This Side of Paradise
F. Scott Fitzgerald
3. The Go-Between
L.P Hartley
4. Cat's Cradle
Kurt Vonnegut

Gerald Hi, Emma!

I see you are looking for suggestions! I feel sort of weird about this, and I don't know if you like humorous books, but I would like to recommend the book I just published, An Embarrassment of Riches. Have a look at it on this site and see if it might be one of your 50!

Charlotte (charlottethalia) I read the summary and it sounds great. Not what I usually read but having Catholic parents and Irish grandparents makes me kinda bias. I'll put it on the list, thanks!

Charlotte (charlottethalia) 5. Hinduism A Cultural Perspective 2nd Edition
David Kinsley

ok so I had to read it for class - but I'm counting it

Charlotte (charlottethalia) 6. Darsan: Seeing the Divine Image in India
Diana L. Eck

again for class - but much better than the intro book.
