Started The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. I really enjoyed her collection of stories Interpreter of Maladies a few years ago, for which she won the Pulitzer prize.
You are in for a handful with The Kindly Ones. But, I will say this: I think it is deeply flawed, but it is also very powerful. Especially the first chapter.

It's quite a well put together page turner, eh? I enjoyed it."
Me too!!
I don't think I mentioned yet that I'm reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay now- there's a "buddy read" starting officially Oct 1st. Anyone is welcome to join. Novel is set in New York City just before WW2.It was in the Boxall list only in the 2008 edition, Pulitzer Prize winner. It seems that Boxall list books are very rarely Pulitzer winners.

An inspiring book! Thanks for posting about it also being known as Schindler's Ark -- I read Schindler's List when the movie came out, but did not realize that it was the same book. So one more book added to my completed list!

Bartleby & Co. by Enrique Vila-Matas of Spain, published in 2000 and added to the 2012 Boxall edition. The "Bartleby" title is inspired by a 150-year old story by Herman Melville, "Bartleby the Scrivener".
Started The Sea The Sea by Iris Murdoch. I thought it seemed a little old-fashioned at first but I'm really enjoying it. Back to the list after months without.
Yrinsyde wrote: "Started The Sea The Sea by Iris Murdoch. I thought it seemed a little old-fashioned at first but I'm really enjoying it. Back to the list after months without."I really like Iris Murdoch. It's funny I've never been able to articulate why.
I liked The Sea The Sea very much. The story is fairly simple but her writing style really drew me in.
George wrote: "I liked The Sea The Sea very much. The story is fairly simple but her writing style really drew me in."The books I've read, I've been amazed at how she doesn't even really need a story her writing is THAT good.

You should be done by tomorrow. ;-)"
Haha I wish! I just don't read very fast. Hoping to wrap it up by the end of October though.
I started The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton and The House with the Blind Glass Windows by Herbjørg Wassmo.
Yesterday I started If Not Now, When?, one of Primo Levi's three books in the list (my first of his). I know Mercedes liked it. I will probably read another of his next year.
Alice wrote: "I started The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde"I just read that and loved it. Lord Henry was so entertaining.
