The Beautiful Mrs. Seidenman which is by Polish author Andrzej Szczypiorski, and is in later editions of Boxall. Rather seldom-read. Short at 200pgs.
Just started Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote. The movie is also available on Netflix as an FYI
I'll start Good Morning, Midnight, which is in all editions of the list, tonight or tomorrow. Written by Jean Rhys, 1939.
Started Death in Venice by Thomas Mann today. My first Mann novel from the list. Looking forward to it.
Started listening to The Children's Book by A.S. Byatt. I think that it is one of the newer editions to the list.
Thomas Of Reading, a really old (1600) and seldom-read one that I was assigned by random. Added to Boxall in '08.

I've heard from many people that's the best edition. Sadly I'm not listening that one but I'm still enjoying it a lot!

I read it last year and really enjoyed it. If you're lucky you have a copy with the Wyeth painting- illustrations.

2666 by Roberto Bolaño. I've read the first book (The Part About the Critics) and I'm really digging it so far.

I definitely want to read Jekyll and Hyde one of these days also.

Just started A Ballad for Georg Henig by Paskov or Paskow of Bulgaria. I've heard it has the highest average Goodreads rating of any Boxall list book at 4.65. It seems to be rare in US libraries, but I was able to check out a copy from the state university library here (Utah).
This weekend my plan is to read the three Philip Marlowe books by Raymond Chandler, so I just finished The Big Sleep, and started Farewell, My Lovely. (I'm liking these, so I may not go straight to The Long Goodbye. I may take a detour through the series, assuming they stay as good as these first two.)
A few days ago I started Midaq Alley (1947) by Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mahfouz of Egypt, and am enjoying it so far. It was a later addition to the List.
