Samantha Mcdade (samanthamcdade) | 7 comments The part of this book that really got me was when she stabbed her first husband. She was abused and I wonder if men will read this and take a hint. Women are not laying down to be stomped anymore!

Samantha - I've never heard of this book, but your passion for it has compelled me to put it on my to-read list. I can tell just by the few things you've written about it, it must be a tear-jerker. But it's so wonderful that there are women out there brave enough to come forward and tell their story. The only way we can get this to stop is if we make is so that it is no longer acceptable. And the only way that will happen is if we can drive the fear and shame from it. Thank you so much for posting all your thoughts!
