Alexandra Anyone read The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn Iggulden? Any comments? I haven't read it yet, but it sounds good.

Stacy | 2 comments This book was given to my 9 yo for christmas and he loves it. Basically it is like the American Boy's Handy Book and includes the timeless stuff you might find in a cub scout guidebook, but the brilliance lie in the beautiful look of the book and the TITLE, which is sure to grab the attention of any boy aged 8 to 88. It does also include some stories of "heroes", advice about girls etc. and it is also very funny in that clever British way.

Alexandra Thanks Stacy! I'm checking this out for my student who is 9, so it's helpful to know your son likes it at that age. I see there's also a girl version, The Daring Book for Girls, I'm planning on checking that one out to.

Alexandra I listened to the audio version, which was abridged, just to preview it. Loved it. This is one though that I would think is best in book form. I'll definately be sharing this one with my student. Highly recommend it!
