He never used his name as B.P. Koirala in literary works.

I've probably done the wrong thing: I noticed that two of my books were put onto the website without their covers, so I've re-done the entry for both of them. However, I cannot see where I can delete the books without their covers. How do I do this? Sorry to be a nuisance but this is all new to me.

Josie, I merged your duplicates. Next time, please just add covers to the already-listed editions.

Rivka - Oh thank you so much. I have each book listed once and no books sitting there without book covers. You waved a magic wand. Thank you. I'm used to running my own five websites and putting books on and off as well as adding illustrations, poems etc - but on a new website - well!!! Things CAN go wrong. Thanks again.

Well, I went ahead and fixed the author problem. The incorrect author page was due to an extra space between the middle initial and last name; GR interprets that as being a unique, different name, hence the wrong profile. Now both entries have the same author, which makes them mergeable. Here are instructions for that, if you'd like to try it yourself:

ETA: And merging is something librarians can do, as long as what you're deleting has less than five adds. I think both editions have more than 5, yes? In which case, a super librarian needs to do it. Post a request here:

Oh, and I should point out I didn't change the author on the first book entry, I changed the incorrect author profile associated with the first book entry. By directly changing the author page, I could merge it with the real author. This is, I think, a better way to do things because it doesn't leave a fake author profile behind. But you should only do that if you know for sure that the authors are really one and the same.
