You should definitely read this. Personally, I like TID more than TMI though my overall favourite character of the series is Alec. :)
TID is even better than TMI so read TID
Why is this even a question? OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Frank look* W-Why are you asking...What are you still sitting here for? You need to go out and get the trilogy. Put TMI away, and become engrossed in TID. It is an experience that no Cassandra Clare should miss out on. I prefer the TID series over the TMI series 10 times over, and I wish that The Infernal Devices had been her first series. So beautiful; so many laughs, tears. Just...just go read it.

If you've read the mortal instruments and you like it, then I definitely suggest that you read this.
YES ESPCIALLY because some awesers on TMI are in this series - also is great to know the ancestors of the TMI characters :) You'll love this series if you loved TMI :D
Omg you have to read this trilogy it's better then the TMI way better pick it up and read it now!!!!
Haven't yet read TMI. But i would advise you to read TID cause it's so freaking good!!
Of course at the end of the book you would think of nothing more than to stab Cassandra for the confusions and the millions of unanswered queries, but that's where the fun lies. You might think you've discovered Cassie's intentions especially knowing that you'd read TMI, but take my word on that, nothing shall save you from having at least a single heart-attack.
