7.. How is the election fever going out there?

8 hehe prince most of the people were infront of TV the whole day. In kerala the govt has put out an android app to show the leading in various constituencies in kerala. So people like me who had to be at work was able to follow the Kerala election but knew about the Modi wave only by evening hehe

1..@Deepu: Having less knowledge about Kerala politics, I wonder often why Congress is gaining votes there. And no Modi wave in most of the South.

Why not Congress. Actually Kerala politics is diff with strong Communist leaders and as u know it has the first elected communist govt in the world. The first govt did a lot of good things and lead to the dev of very strong base among the lower strata and lead to the political uplift meant of the state and so it is the main cause off dev of Kerala in the social scale . As long as the communists are strong the chance of BJP developing as a strong third force is meager. That is why BJP is still has around 10% votes inspite of strong Modi wave. And as we know BJP is one party which has more ideologies which is more akin to North Indian way of thought. We in south has more attachment lord Krishna and Devi also subramanya aiyappa and Ganapathi. But Sri ram has more devotion in the north. So BJP riding the Sri Ram rath may have to go thru big Gutters in the south. What ever be we in south of vindhya is diff from the north

3.. That Ram Krishna thing was a new explanation to me :) for why not congress! With corruptions being the last name, in all states it bombed. Except for Kerala. so asked. May be just that Kerala congress is less courrupted. not sure

Ya congress in kerala is less corrupt than in other places. And we have very good people like AkAntony , the now KPCC president VM Surheeran etc. and one thing is that the main opposition communists went totally wrong in their candidate selection. They are losing their touch with the people. The opposition leader VS ACHUTHANANTHAN has a very strong people support and it is bec of him they are getting seats... But his opponent Pinarayi Vijayans is stronger in the party and is sidelining his supporters inside the party. If ACHUTHANANTHAN was stronger in the party they would have got more seats
