Christen | 41 comments So I've got this one from the library, really wanted to see it when it came out, but have heard so many bad things about it. What did you all think? Is it worth a watch?

It's worth a watch for zombie fans. It's flabbier than the original film, longer than it needed to be. I didn't care much about the characters either ... which, in my opinion, is what makes _28 Days Later_ so gripping. _World War Z_ is a more interesting look at government hubris and urban attacks.

I was disappointed.

Terry (tbosky) | 58 comments I thought the first half was okay, but the second half fell apart. I don't want to be spoilery, but there's a new development in the virus which is interesting and then things happen which make it irrelevant.

Kim (kim_richards) | 3 comments 28 Weeks Later was decent. I loved 28 Days Later so it had some hard shoes to fill. Weeks isn't at the top of my favorites but worth watching once.

Mark Cato | 3 comments I agree with the rest. I really enjoyed 28 Days Later. 28 Weeks Later was worth watching, but nowhere near as good. As Terry mentions, there is a new development that could have made for really interesting opportunities. The filmmakers zigged when they should have zagged, and took the film in a really predictable direction. Not awful, but predictable.
