message 5: by Amber (new)

Amber Keep up the good work! You just have to read 4 1/2 books each month to make it to the big 50!

message 6: by Emily (new)

Emily (emikay) =] I'm way behind.
But as summer approaches I'm having more and more time to read.

message 7: by Emily (new)

Emily (emikay) Yay! It's summer!

Which means in a week or two, I'll be caught back up. [Hopefully.]

message 8: by Emily (new)

Emily (emikay) This week my goal is to read 5 books, M-F, a book a day.

1 day down, 4 books to go.

message 9: by Liz B (new)

Liz B (lizb) | 104 comments Good luck! I love days (and books) like that, where I feel like I'm diving in and only occasionally coming up for air.

message 10: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 35 comments Ok, here's what I've been wondering.

How do you read a book a day? I guess I could do it, but perhaps not disciplined enough.

Or do you have to have a booklight?

Or do you carry it in your purse everywhere you go?

I'm still on The Face of a Stranger by Anne Perry.

Emily (emikay) Thanks Liz B! Me too.

And Sarah, it's summer for me, I'm not working this week, and my boyfriend is out of town. I basically have all day to lay around and read, although really, I'm only spending 3-4 hours of my day ready.

I wanted to make sure I could accomplish my goal, so I chose some of the shorter books I've been wanting to read. All of them are like 200 pages long. So it's not that bad.

Emily (emikay) Hmmm. Still behind. =[
