This is July's book of the month and where we shall discuss it.

This is such a strange book.

[Sarah]

im not liking it so far. Its wierd

I wasn't real fond of it either... Got through it though.

[Katelyn]

Yeah, I'm having trouble with it too. I might not finish it in time but I should get through it by next weekend.

[Sarah]

yea im still finishing it.

[Katelyn]

I'm a little over half finished with it. I think I will finish it tomorrow though. Anyone else find it kind of sexist? “All boys?”
“A few girls. They don’t often pass the tests to get in. Too many centuries of evolution working against them.”
And there are more, that's just the one I can quote. I don't know, it's bugging me..

i didn't like the book very much.

[Katelyn]

Yeah me either (so far).

I just finished it. I guess I was further than I had originally thought. I didn't like it and the reasons are:
I was probably too old to enjoy it. He aged from 6 to 9 and I thought it was strange how young he was during most of the book.

I don't like the author-this likely made me biased in ways but if you read his non-fiction book he's a gay and women hater and that's just not cool with me.

It was strange-now don't get me wrong, many of the books I like are strange, this one is just different-strange-and-not-in-a-good-way.

I didn't like the characters. I just didn't.

I agree. I love strange books, but that was just entirely something else. And the characters were awful.

I bet you this months book will be much better! :)

I'm not even that far yet and it's already way better! :)

yep its a lot better :) amy and i read to chapter 5 :)
