What did you think of Catherine Coulter's Wizard's Daughter, and Julie Garwood's Shadow Music? I've read both and really loved Wizard's Daughter. I felt that Shadow Music was a little disjointed. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the the book, but it felt a little off kilter for Julie Garwood. Can anyone suggest new HR books?

Laurie Sorensen (laurie_sorensen) | 3 comments Well Kelly...I can suggest the following books...of a historical nature that I think are awesome...Rebel Dove...by Linda Daly (a sequel to Virtuous Dove) it is a civil war era epic historical romance...then I can suggest Highlander Untamed and Highlander Unmasked by Monica McCarty...both are awesome reads...I am currently reading Highlander Unmasked...and she is a new author, these are her fisrt books, with another in the trilogy too, which I haven't bought yet, but i intend to, called Highlander Unchained. Now another book I can suggest is my own book, Ravenwood: Night's Salvation, I have been told by almost everyone who reads it that it is a great book, the only person who wasn't thrilled to pieces with it was the one professional reviewer I had...lol...She did give it 3 stars out of 5...and she did say that historical lovers would like the story line. My book is available online through www.amazon.com or www.borders.com or my publisher www.lightswordpublishing.com on thier ordering page. Hope you like them all if you choose to get them. Laurie

Manju Well, Kelly - I did like Wizard's Daughter - but the story was dragged out a lot - i did not like it as much as the Sherbrooke Sagas(specially Ryder's story, Sinjun's Story and the twins stories) where the history, the relationship between the characters and the mystery is nicely meshed but this book the relationship between the two characters overshadows the mystery and the history :(
I havent read the Shadow Music - on my to-read list. Now that classes have started dont know when I will get to it.
