You have a few on your shelves that I have read that would work.

Obsidian- Katy is kind of geeky- she had no friends and feels out of place. I loved this book.
Playing for Keeps- Haley starts out as kind of a doormat, Jason might see her as nerdy.
Club Shadowlands - Jessica is an accountant (geeky profession) and shy.
Darkhouse - Perry feels geeky and misunderstood by her family.
