A bit far off I may go. All my questions have been asked but I loved the book. Everytime I pick up a one of your books I feel like fall inside the story. Life changing.
If you were going to put a twist on The Casual Vacancy, what would it be, and how big would it change the book?
Did you have to go back to the harry potter series to remember small details foryour New book??
Rebecca wrote: "i want to read the new book i havent read it yet"The cuckoo's calling? It was fun, and kind of reminded me of the Lawrence Sanders McNally books
I have noticed that portions of the book are very sexual in nature. Did you have specific reasons for doing this and, if so, what were those reasons?
Was it hard writing a book after having been writing about the same characters (in the Harry Potter series)? Or did you like being able to write something else? Having freedom to write whatever you want?
Are you ever going to write another series? Are you ever going to write for a young adult audience again?
I really enjoyed the Harry Potter series and I'd like to see what else she can do. She's a very talented writer
I liked this book while at the same time finding it a little depressing. I can't help but wonder if Ms. Rowling's draws on her own experiences for many of the characters.
Not quite, Marisa but close. She is writing a screenplay for Warner Brothers, set in the Wizarding world and based on the author of a textbook used in Harry Potter, Newt Scamander. It will begin a new series, not of books, but of movies, and will start 70 years before Harry is born. "Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find Them"
well, i did not read The Casual Vacancy but i wanted to know if you were going to write another harry potter book. i loved those. teehee.
Do you tire of people asking you when you are going to write another Harry Potter book? How do you feel The Casual Vacancy compares with the Harry Potter series, in terms of writing style, genre, or content?
Will you be writing anymore teen books? Because I have probably read the harry potter book series over 15 times and I wish it could continue... Though I relies that that is unrealistic... So anything that you might be writing? Anymore books by you that might be coming out in the near future in the gene of teen fiction?
That's it...
THANKS!!!
-Amelia

She is writing, not a book but a screenplay for Warner Brothers, set in the Wizarding world and based on the author of a textbook used in Harry Potter, Newt Scamander. It will begin a new series, not of books, but of movies, and will start 70 years before Harry is born. "Fantastical Beasts and Where to Find Them" was the textbook Harry used and the first movie will probably have that title it sounds like
so j.k. rowling is not writing another harry potte book? shucks. i really want to know what adventures the children have. that would be fun to know.
How did u come up with the inspiration for this book ? Was is difficult at all to write a book completely different from those of the Harry potter series ?
By the end of The Casual Vacancy which character do you empathize with most even after they each do at least one questionable act?
As a person who suffers from OCD, the way you captured this disorder profoundly effected me. I have never read such an emotional and poignant account of OCD and it's harrowing effects on a suffers life. How did you capture these thoughts and feelings so beautifully?
Dear J.K. Rowling,If you wanted the readers to walk away with one grand lesson from this book, what would it be? I enjoyed reading your book and will always be a fan! Good luck with all future endeavors!
Kids loved Harry Potter and they may read this book too. Do you think the language of this book was necessary in order to make a point?
Did you draw any connections or ties.. or simply had in mind the world of Harry Potter when writing The Casual Vacancy?
To every author just starting out. What would the now famous J.K. Rowling advise beginning authors to do.
If you could pick one thing in any of the Harry Potter books and pluck it from the pages, what would it be? -your adoring fan
No, if it had finished people wouldn't still be posting. Rowling may be done but Harry Potter will never be.
what is the hardest thing of writing The Casual Vacancy, because that novel takes different theme with your first novel?
