Rob,
I've spent years working in management and within large corporate organisations. I've met and worked with all kinds of people, the good, the bad and the ugly!!!
Consequently I feel I could relate quite well to this kind of story.

This is my first post. I am an adjunct professor and consultant residing in the mid-Atlantic.
I'm in the final stage of co-authoring a fictional account of leadership in a large pharmaceutical corporation. The book examines the motives and behavior of four executives as they grapple with a strategic challenge. Three themes emerge: ethics, globalization and women in leadership. The underlying issue is power in organizations. All of the characters have flaws, most notably, perhaps, is the CEO. We wrote the book to teach management through literature, and to act as a counterweight to the relentlessly upbeat view of corporate leadership taught in universities.
