Erik and I aren't friends anymore. He lied to me about our whole friendship and when I talked to him about it, he said, "Okay you can be like that you just get hurt easily." And please don't tell me that I have to get over it because it's not that easy to get over! It's not easy to get over someone who meant so much to you. Someone who you cared about so much. Someone who told you that you were a sister to him. Someone who said he loved you.

*hugs* I know it can be hard to lose a friend. One of my best friends randomly stopped talking to me one day in 9th grade, and I was hurt too, didn't know what had happened. I know it's hard Brittany but it will get easier. If he was lying to you the whole time then he must not have been that great of a friend to start with. Can you tell me what exactly happened?

It's about a girl who's twin died so she went up to a lake house or something to help liven up a bit and there were strange..things happening there.
Well, a while back, he had apparently said that he didn't f***ing care about me. When I confronted him about that and told him that it made me cry, he became panicked. Also, he's never said that before. I just shook it off and moved it. Now, people keep talking about him being a liar and I just feel like he's lying about our friendship. So, I texted him and said, "Okay so I've been feeling like you're lying to me lately. About the whole I don't care about you thing that had happened, I think you lied about that. I've never heard you say that before, ever. And I swear I saw you look panicked when you found out that you made me cry. I don't feel like you actually care about me. I feel like you've been lying about our whole friendship. I just don't know if we should continue our friendship. I don't think it will work out for us..." He replied and said, "Okay you can be like that you just get hurt too easily." I haven't cried this much in forever. I just keep crying and crying. He told me I was like a sister to him. He's told me he loved me before. I cannot stop crying. I started crying at school today because I saw him in the hallway.
Maybe he'll try to fix it? People just need time apart sometimes, and he'll come back? *I suck at this*

Be strong Brittany. Try to confront him. Talking to him in person would be better than text. He'd be more able to see how you really feel and you'd see the same.

If you don't want to be his friend, ditch him. But if you do miss him, and whatnot you should try to reason with him.
