True that.
True that.

The sun is actually quite small compared to the other stars in our galaxy. Have you seen Sirius? That star is ginormous. Our sun is tiny compared to it.
The sun will not cause a super nova since it will not become a super giant. Period. End of story.

Yes I know the sun is actually quite small compared to other suns/stars. Every star has to die, and Earth will not be still alive when the sun does.
Jessica wrote: "Exactly. The Earth is already in a state of pandemonium."
That is because of us.
We were the ones who caused the extinction of many rainforest, animals and plants. We are causing global warming that is melting the glaciers.
We are the one to blame for the Earth's current state.
We are selfish creatures who don't know how to share.
I mean come on, we lived on Earth for thousands of years yet we still did not learn how to share the Earth with the animals until recently.

Whoa I'm feeling like I'm in Astronomy Olympiad preparation class all over again

But not all stars explode in a supernova.
Some stars lumonisty dim until they become white dwarfs, then black dwarfs.

Not exactly the smallest star.
Not exactly the smallest star.
Yes we humans are indeed horrible. Everything bad in this Earth (almost everything) has been caused by us. By fossil fuels, by building cities, by tearing down rainforests, e.t.c

Do not just blame the tree cutters.
We are at fault too. The constant use of electricity and stuff.

Some people can't help it but cut down trees to make money.
Citizens in the poorer, less fortunate states/countries make money by shopping down forest trees.
They can't help it, they need the money to feed their children.
Now, if we, kids, do little things such as turning off the light when it's not needed, turning off the TV when nobody is watching, all those little things will add up. And we'll make a difference.

Yes they will, but there are also natural disasters that are becoming more and more frequent. What's scary is that there's a fault line very close to my house, and I live in one of the absolute safest places in the world, at least of natural disasters.

The frequent and unusual storms and natural disasters are caused by global warming and the melting of ice caps.
And global warming is caused by us.

Those are also caused by global warming.
Those are also caused by global warming.
Jessica wrote: "Seriously?? That is weird..."
How is that weird?
Do you know what causes a tornado?

That wasn't a happy class, let me tell you. I was there by accident. -_____- and it lasted for two times Olympiad. Major torture.

Most tornadoes form from thunderstorms. You need warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool, dry air from Canada. When these two air masses meet, they create instability in the atmosphere. A change in wind direction and an increase in wind speed with increasing height creates an invisible, horizontal spinning effect in the lower atmosphere. Rising air within the updraft tilts the rotating air from horizontal to vertical. An area of rotation, 2-6 miles wide, now extends through much of the storm. Most strong and violent tornadoes form within this area of strong rotation.
Global warming may decrease the wind shear and that may counterbalance the impact on tornado generation from the increase in thunderstorm intensity.
AND THAT IS HOW TORNADOES FORM AND HOW GLOBAL WARMING AFFECTS IT!
