Jerry Killen Excellent book! I think the best yet!

Martha I loved this book and the sequels, "The Steel Wave" and "No less then Victory" Historically correct, based on actual diaries. A complete story of the war in Europe.

Martin Hill I am a great fan of Jeff Shaara, but I didn't think this triology was his best. I was very happy one of the main characters in this book was a tanker from the 1st Armored Division. My father fought with the 1st AD in North Africa and Italy. But the triology itself didn't seem to have the same heart Shaara put into his other work. I think he tried to be too expansive in a too limited size work. I'm reading his latest, "A Blaze of Glory," now, and he's back to his best work again.
