But DO these two titles REALLY contain the same text? If so, why is the “Amo ..” cover removed?

My assessment is that we have a UK edition here (“Amo”) and a later US edition (“Carpe”). Shouldn’t that be two separate edition records (and cover photos) co-existing in tandem on Goodreads; with a librarian note describing their familial relationship?

with thanks,

from a puzzled,

Deon (deonva) | 3379 comments on the copyright page of Carpe Diem: Put a Little Latin in Your Life it says it was originally published under the name Amo, Amas, Amat … And All That: How to Become a Latin Lover

It should be combined.

do combine:
Different publications of the same book.

^ | 86 comments Many thanks, I had no proof that "Carpe" was merely a change of title & not a change of content & title.

I take it then that it's just an unhelpful side-effect that the 'Amo' book cover has disappeared from ? ... except that it is visible when I search in My Books.
