Missy I just watched this for the first time. A wonderful old film with an interesting take on fame and divas and the theater vs television and film. There were some wonderful lines in this film and about 5min of Marylin Monroe looking gorgeous.

I really enjoyed that movie..need to see that again. I'm seeing now Double Indemnity, another great old movie.

Karen Loved that movie! Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, Celeste Holm...amazing. There's nothing like the old movies and the stars. I'm not one to have favorites in any area, but I do have a favorite movie..."Breakfast at Tiffany's". I always wanted to be Holly Gollightly and Audrey Hepburn all wrapped into one. My daughter gave me a great book for Christmas on Audrey Hepburn, "The Audrey Hepburn Treasures", I highly recommend it.

Cliff | 46 comments Did you see Sunset Blvd? With William Holden and Gloria Swanson. It came out the same year and received just as many Oscar nominations. I would also recommend Double Indemnity!

Karen Yes, Sunset Blvd. was another great one. I also saw it done as a Broadway on Tour play and loved it. Like I said, there's nothing like the old movies!
