Jaylyn forced a smile. "Strangers, huh? I don't really acquaint myself with strangers. For all I know, they could be drawing a gun and I wouldn't know until it's too late. I try to avoid them..."

"Yeah, but, you can tell me if something is up, you know." Emerson replied.
((should they see an attack or something?))
((should they see an attack or something?))
Jaylyn bit her lip. "I guess that's true. Ill keep that in mind." She pulled her phone out and noted that it hadn't vibrated. She set it on the table so she'd be sure to hear if it did. ((Have they started yet?))
Emerson heard a faint noise in the library. A banging? What...? She stood up. The banging became louder and then she heard a smashing. A rock flew through a window close to them and fell to he ground a meter away from Jaylyn. "We need to go, now." Rocks kept flying, and the banging noise was books falling off of shelves.
Jaylyn tensed, her fingers twisted tightly in Sparky's fur. "What's happening?" she asked quietly, stuffing her phone in her pocket and standing up quickly. "Em, what's going on?" she panicked slightly. Being blind, she relied entirely on other people to help her get places or tell her what was happening. And right now, she hated it more than ever.
"Don't worry. It'll be fine," She dodged a book, and kicked a crazy looking library goer in the chest. He had been shaking a shelf. "I have no idea. All I know is it's not safe," She grabbed Jaylyn's hand and quickly started walking out of there, careful not to slip on glass.
Jaylyn bit her lip, snatching Sparky's leash and letting him guide her as well as Em. "That doesn't sound like it'll be fine." she said, brow tightened in worry. She clutched Em's hand as tightly as she could. Fear was her worst enemy. Because she was afraid of every single thing on the planet.
"Don't worry," Emerson flung open the door of the library. There were people on the streets. They were crazy looking, wild. Attacking? She and Jaylyn ran down the steps. "Where to go... Where to go..."
Jaylyn shivered slightly. "I guess we could go to my house. It's out of town a little, so no one would be there except family members..." she offered, digging her nails of one hand into Em's and her other hand clenched tightly around Sparky's vest's handle.
"Okay," Emerson agreed. "Anything far, and sort of isolated would be safe." She had no idea what was going on. She wanted to find out though.
