I did dancing for 9 years and I personally believe it's a sport.
What else would you call it?

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments At Dick's (a popular sporting goods store in the US) golf isn't considered a sport. They have sportswear and then they have golf clothes. XD

I think that dancing is a sport. You're exercising and there are competitions for it so it's a sport, right?

Anything that actually involves getting up and moving is a sport in my opinion.

Khalif I think that it depends on the type of dancing that it is. I mean, like the waltz, I don't really think of as a sport, but ballet, the salsa, those are seriously difficult dances, I hear. Your body has to be in shape to do dances like that.
