I started reading that title for a book club and found it hard to get into. I made it through the first couple of chapters and then set it aside for another time.

It's definitely more literary than I initially thought it would be. Not a fast read at all, and certainly not for everyone.

Just finished "A MAN CALLED OVE". It started slow... enough so that I almost called Claire to ask why she had loaned it to me. But I kept reading, and caught on to Ove's back story. And then I started to get the current story. By then, the old curmudgeon had grown on me. Have to say that I loved this book!!!

I'm in the middle of Redemption Road and loving it. John Hart has written a terrific thriller! One of the best!
