Rather than chowing down on bison meat, Stone Age people likely ate a more balanced meal.

Alicja (darkwingduckie7) | 228 comments It seems reasonable, plants, berries, and nuts didn't bite back or try and trample you. It seems reasonable that they only ate meat when they were able to catch some, and didn't eat as much meat because they didn't have a reliable supply of it.

Robert Zwilling Maybe instead of thinking big, think small, they had a lot of rodents competing with them for those berries and nuts.

Victoria Stoklasa (victoriastoklasa) | 8 comments This isn't really a very big surprise to me. I firmly expected to see a high-fiber diet paired with daily physical activities because they were both necessary for survival. Fiber keeps you full; you don't have to eat a lot of it to get results.
