I'm at a loss for one single horror author/book that I can call my top fave. Anyone have any top favorites out there?

Dustin I have a few I could list, but not an absolute favorite that I hold above and beyond all the others:

Swan Song
The Stand
The Exorcist

Autumn (autumnmemory80) Ooh, ooh! Yea! Folders! I have read several books that are considered horror, but I did not find scary. Right now some of my favorites would be:
The Silence of the Lambs

I loved The Snowman which is not actually horror, more detective/crime, but it was creepy for sure!
