Great article, Gamal. I'm currently writing my first novel, and this method has given me better ideas on how to structure it, desire of protagonist, genre etc.

I'm taking notes. Thanks for posting this.

No worries Kyle. I plan to post a few more articles to go into this process in depth, but I strongly recommend Story. McKee explains the process much better than I can, even though he is primarily talking about screenwriting and not novel writing. It is still an invaluable guide.
