Bill Weinberg Read this book as a kid and re-reading it now, some 40 years later. Finding it annoying that she uses contemporary Anglo-Saxon place-names instead of the Latin and Keltic ones that would have been in use at that time. The map in the frontispiece even says "England"--an entity that would not exist for centuries! Otherwise, enjoying the hell out of it.

Jane I had to smile at the name of St. Alban's especially. Goodness knows it wasn't called that back then! No Wales until Middle Ages.
