Logan Hine fingers(First Lww trilogy)
Sand Dan Glokta (First Law)
Royce and Hadrian Gwen and Myron(Riyria Revelations)
The Black Thorn, Henry, and Jezzett (Ties that bind)

message 2: by Drake (new)

Drake (drake2484) Kaladin and Adolin from Stormlight Archives and Kvothe from Kingkiller Chronicles. But those are a little more obvious as they are main characters. So my favorite characters that are more so role players instead of lead roles would be Wit of Stormlight Archive, Master Namer himself in Kingkiller Chronicles, and Roger in God Slayer Chronicles.

Michael (sharklops) Agreed with most all of the characters posted so far but haven't yet seen any of David Gemmell's awesome characters like Druss, Waylander, Skilgannon, Connavar, Bane, Kaelin, Grymauch, Gaise, Maev, and on and on.

Anyone who hasn't read his books is missing out on some of the best fantasy ever written.

I've only read Drizzt and Ender but you're right, though I never thought of it myself, the two characters are quite similar. I'm guessing you like honest, honorable, and moral characters.
