Okay so i think this is part of a series. It starts with a wedding best friend of the main girl is marrying a town mayor. The guy is perfect , he is worshiped by the people , and the local people don t even think that the best friend is good enough for Tod ( i think that was his name) even though she is the president daughter. Of course she bails the wedding , and the main girl takes the blame , she is cut off from family without money and stuck in a town with it s locals hating her.
