Maximilian Gerboc | 1 comments I noticed that most of the books on the shelf are of American/European influence. I love them all, but if you wanted a new twist on this type of novel, try reading La Ciudad Ausente (The Absent City is the English translated version) by Ricardo Piglia. It's a really great, dark, kind of futuristic investigative story about Argentina. One of the best books I've read in years. And if anyone has any more recommendations within this subtype, feel free to post them.
