Amen Sista! I mean part of being a bad ass alpha is protecting your woman and how are you doing that if your cheating

tinyteaplots I have one great big open mind.
As far as cheating goes, it happens. I don't agree with it but good people do stupid things all the time, what makes our Alphas any exception? There are a number of stories where I think that the Alphas have this sense of "male entitlement" about them. It works for certain plots. Certainly won't stop me from reading a book. Maybe even forgiving and falling for said cheating Alpha.
And menage? It's just sex. I agree with others who have pointed out books like Zane (Alluring Indulgence, #2) by Nicole Edwards where our Alpha was clearly the one in control of the situation the entire time.

I completely agree! Alpha males should not drawn to anyone else and they should not have any desire to share what is theirs.

I do try to avoid reading books that contain cheating or menage. I have read a couple of books with menage and though I did finish them, it was still hard for me wrap my mind around. If there is a good story line, I think I would still finish a book that has cheating and/or menage only because I don't like to DNF any books.

Kara Swynn (karaswynn) | 45 comments Cheating - NO WAY!

Menage - I don't think a true alpha would ever share.

However, that being said...
I have read a few paranormal books about two alphas (or in one instance three) who happen to share the same mate.

They're still as possessive with the heroine, just not when it comes to each other. This is a good example of that.... Loving Her (Keeping Her #2) by Kelly Lucille

However, I must say I prefer my alpha reads menage free!!!!

exactly

me too
almost all my DNF'S have had cheating or menage in them
there really should be a warning on the book (some do, some dont). cos if that's not your thing then if you know it's in there you dont accidentally buy/read it

I agree, if done right! I love it!

~Nichole~ Sizzling Pages Romance Reviews (sizzlingpages) | 8 comments I know this is old but I vote no way. An true alpha never shares as he is all about "mine". I even made a list on GR about a yr and a half ago called True Alphas do not share ever. LOL. I abhor cheating and think that's a dick not an alpha. Just my opinion. Carry on ..

Jana (quippygirl) I don't like my alphas to be okay with sharing. It should drive them wild to see another man touching their woman.

This was my only issue with (view spoiler) even though it is one of my all time favourites.

I'm a little weird about cheating. I like the pain and angst of a (one time) cheating hero who is devastated when he is caught and ends up having to go through some groveling, jealousy and heartbreak of his own to win back the heroine. Then I need an HEA...LOL.

Rachel (zippecar) | 11 comments I wouldn't think that a true alpha would be inclined to share, or suffer a third parties ideas, wants or desires. After all it's all supposed to be about the claiming and the "MINE" concept.

Sophie "Beware Of The Reader" | 3 comments Sorry to jump into the conversation but Jana wrote about sharing in Blindfolded Innocence. I planned on reading it (I loved Black Lies) but sharing and cheating is also a no way for me. I also think an alpha is all "Mine" :-).
So question (without giving any spoilers away): does the hero cheat many times or does he share his women in Blindfolded Innocence? Or is it a "one time cheating with many groveling"?

Paganalexandria | 118 comments Cheating doesn't bother me, if it has point in the storyline. I don't mind an Alpha that doesn't automatically become perfect boyfriend materiel five seconds within meeting the heroine. I do need the heroine to make him work for her forgiveness though. I don't like it when the guy messes up royally, and a kiss, or look is all it takes to make the heroine to melt. I need steel underneath velvet.
