Tom Wiseman I thought Digital Fortress was simply an amazing read. Dan Brown might have made his millions with The Da Vinci Code, but this book really struck accord with me.

Nev Px I've just finished reading it and I loved it...a really difficult book to put down ;o)

Hina It was a brilliant book, I think it was better than Angels and Demons.

Mehwish Kayani I have read all books of Dan. And I'll place this book in my favorites for sure. Plot was very nicely built and maintained till the end.
Thumbs up to Dan Brown..!

Farzan I enjoyed reading it and also I learnt something about cryptography that amazed me very much.

Allie this book blows my mind. the math and work in it is just insane. love how complicated it is because it makes it perfect.

i like when Becker have to go to another person to another person again, made my head spins a lot XD

Amelia It was pretty awesome!!!!!!(as usual) Brown writes great plot-driven books!

varun Awesome book...one of the best Sci-fi thrillers that i hav read...but still I feel Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code were better...

Andi Yeah, awesome book! I started to like and love cryptography!! :))

Lacey This book was incredible.I love all of his books but this is one of my faves because of the intricate tie ins with cryptography and who doesn't love a gd puzzle!!

Çili It is the most wonderful book that i have ever read. There are so many things that you may learn from this book.Dan Brawn is an amazing writer.

Brad Lee Page turner? yep

Brain Candy? ha ha um.. nope.

message 16: by Kit (new) - rated it 4 stars

Kit Ty good but complex book.. i think it's better than deception point..:D

Bukky Was the first Dan Brown book I read and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Amit Kit wrote: "good but complex book.. i think it's better than deception point..:D"

Way better!

Grace This was better than Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons for me. Both of the those books had a similar plotline. This was entirely different.

Kamalika Talukdar really awesome.and i would like to thank my friend for introducing me to this amazing book!

Shubham Really nice. A thorough page-turner!

Lordichigo korusaki It's simply amazing! I really had a great time reading it! :)

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

really good book XD

Shubham Really Nice!!

Viktoriya Wow...Looks like I am in a minority here because I absolutely hated it. I gave it one star and only because I couldn't put zero. I thought that the plot was very predictable and so-called unbreakable code was child's play. JMHO.

Rawan honestly I didn't like i , it had a couple of surprises but that was it , I wasn't that big of a fan of the characters either maybe I shouldn't have read this after The Davinci Code , Angels and Demons and The Lost Symbol , I still like all 3 of them over this .

i did read them in that order - but hated the DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons - loved this one. Each to their own I guess!

Michael Parker I think Dan Brown is a really good writer. I enjoyed this book immensely.

Amika Mer'i-Fendi It's a good book, not a very good one. The plot was predictable as you said. However, I think the most boring thing was the narration style. It felt like a film script not a novel. I had to skip some lines in several pages.

Abdullah Al.Ghueiry it's very good, but sometimes goes to extra drama in many points .... anyway still wonderful idea

Tatyana who will guard the guards

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

I liked it, but I didn't LOVE IT. Personally, I thought it was kind of predictable.

Stephen Whaley I actually knew the answer off the top of my head to the "prime difference" question, so I thought it was too easy. Another complaint is the whole twist of who hired the assassin.

As to the science behind the decryption machine, I think unfortunately it's pure fiction.

All in all though, I apparently gave it a 3.

Robert Droy Found it OK if a little predictable. The characters were all rather stereotyped. But a good easy holiday read.

David Powell Brown has not written many novels, so a superlative is a little risky. Nonetheless, since I have read them all, I think Digital Fortress is the best.

Farzan Digital Fortress was very educational and informative for me especially knowing about cryptography or deciphering the codes.

Vasavi Amazing book..Liked it very much..

Ananya This book makes an interesting read.. It's surprising that this is one book by Brown that doesn't contain a lot of 'facts' contrary to his other books. This was one of the reasons, I think, I could related to it.

(Though his 'factual' books, sure, are informative.. I doubt how far they are true but I'd like to believe they're true nevertheless)

Rushikesh Joshi Described it very finely...
I liked it..

Haris Digital Fortress was with Dan Brown touch. As usual he took the reader with him from beginning to end. A wonderful book, amazing story line, a must read for fiction lovers.

Vaishnavi Aravind awesome book...loved it!!1

Maraz Hossain similar books ?

David Lojkasek I think this book was as good as the other Dan Brown's books. You start reading and cannot stop until you're at the end. Must read book.

Anthony Alegrete One of his best books.!!!!

Светлана Гусева No, it's not a good novel. But it is typical for Brown.
Of course, this book is worse that Angels and Demons and even worse that da Vinci Code. Just about something so...cooked-up. Boring.

Michelle Bacon It's interesting that now something quite similar to this is popping up in the news, i.e Snowdon.

Nichole Agreed. This is a favorite of mine from Dan Brown, and same for my husband. It was hard to put down once you started reading.

Mohammed Saleh I loved the book so so much, it's really one of the best books I've ever read.

Matthew Broman One of his more underrated books..I really loved this book, it has been awhile since I've read it but remember it was really good and hard to put down
