I like horror films, but was expecting a horror/comedy. Okay, there are a few quirky one liners, but aside from that it's more horror than comedy. I was a little disappointed it wasn't more schlocky, but the overall tension was good.
I'm still waiting for it on Netflix. I was pitched as a comedy, and now that it is not, I am not sure if it still works. But I'll drop a review once I've seen it. The great thing about bad movies is you don't really waste any time on them... but life is way to short for a bad book.
I thought it was excellent. Most of the horror movies that are on my top ten of the past year were all foreign films. I have a list if you're interested. :)
I enjoyed the overt comedic moments in the film, especially the rocket launcher scene. Also, you got to laugh when they see that the guy does not act alone....
Any other opinions?
Cheers,
Angela
