Sharp Objects
question
Dinner menu based on this book?

Hello!
I'll come right out and say that I haven't even started this because life has been crazy, but I do have the intention to read it. I've chosen this book as the host of my book club and need to choose a dinner menu hopefully based on food in the book, or at least some sort of food connection. (We meet in our golf club's dining room, and we work with the chef to come up with the menu based on the book.)
So for those of you that have read it, without revealing any major spoilers, can you offer me any suggestions? Although, based on what little I do know about the book, there are probably not any food-related spoilers.
Another way to go could be that the menu relates to the title somehow - foods needing sharp objects (steak?). Dorky, I know. I'm desperate at this point. Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Ummm. This is tough to answer. There was pork in the book but it involved animal cruelty. Id say , southern dishes? The main character was from a small southern town, where she returns early in the book.
Hope this helps.

well for drinks Camille drinks lots of hard liquor...
for food, I don't know if you will want to eat meat after they talk about the meat factory her family owns...maybe food with sharp objects? like be ware of the kabobs on wooden objects, using cocktail sticks?
This is a tough one because it is such a gruesome book...
Hard Liquor, stick with the hard liquor.
