Ice Cream Cake

My sister made this for my daughter's bday and she loved it.. I think it's a Pampered Chef recipe...
ICE CREAM CAKE

INGREDIENTS:

½ GALLON OF VANILLA ICE CREAM
1 PACKAGE OF OREOS
1 STICK OF BUTTER
½ JAR OF RASPBERRY JAM
1 JAR OF CHOCOLATE SAUCE (DOVES)
1 TUB OF COOL WHIP

Directions:

Crush up entire pack of Oreos
Save about 1 cup of Oreo crumbs to the side
Mix one stick of melted butter and Oreos
Press into bottom of Pam sprayed 9in x 13in pan
Freeze at least 30 minutes
Cut ½ Gallon of ice cream into 1 ½ inch slices, layer over Oreo crust
Freeze 1 hour
Spread a thin layer of raspberry jam over ice cream
Freeze 30 minutes
Spread a ½ inch layer of fudge (not heated) over jam
Put cool whip over fudge
Sprinkle left over Oreo crumbs on top
Put in freezer

I forgot to get/make a birthday cake for my party tonight!!!

I'm going to stop at Ben & Jerry's to see if they have anything... otherwise, I might try to make this tonight. I'll let you know how it goes...

Uh, I have to admit that Ben & Jerry's came to the rescue.

But I WILL make this ice cream cake soon!

I just need to think of something to replace that raspberry jam...
