Innocence and Wilderness (Group Read - December 2013)
The first two lines seem like romantic suspense is an element but I notice that RS is not mentioned in the "In Innocence..." line. Either way, with or without the romantic suspense element, it sounds interesting to me, though. I'll have to remember to ask my library to buy it once October rolls around. (I think the rule is that purchase suggestions can be made no earlier than three-months prior to publication.)

Breathless wasn't terrible, just not well thought through. A real ending would have been nice. As to YHBTM- I know some people who absolutely adore it, while I'm wishing I could un-read it. To each his own, I guess. An author as prolific as Koontz is entitled to a few missteps.

At any rate, I plan to re-read Your Heart Belongs to Me at some point, giving it a second chance, and hoping for the best possible experience.

Well I am planning to reread it at some time in the future also. Dustin, maybe you need not to look for it to mean something. If you are looking for the meaning you may not find it.
I loved Breathless, I know one of few... but I did. But when I reviewed it on Amazon, I got a really negative reaction for liking it.

We are nicer on Goodreads :-) I don't review on Amazon anymore because of the negativity. However Amazon now owns Goodreads so I'm hoping it will remain friendly and retain a fun atmosphere.

I hope your summer is going well, with a lot of laughter and romance and leisure and good food and good reading. I've had a wonderful time with hayfever, two outbreaks of hives, and the human equivalent of dry rot in wood. I'm happy to say that I was able to survive an attack of killer bees by throwing my sweet and fragrant Slurpee all over a 90-year-old woman in a walker, thus redirecting their furious attention to her. (With my usual and often remarked-upon generosity, I plan to share with her ten percent of that 30 million when it arrives from Nigeria.)
Meanwhile, I have finished work on a novel titled INNOCENCE, which arrives in stores on December 10, 2013, and it is one of my personal favorites of my books, scary and mysterious, with some twists I doubt that you'll expect. May the rest of the summer bring you good times, much joy, and a Nigerian heir even richer than the one it's been my good fortune to assist.

The release date for Innocence was previously scheduled for January so this is nice that the new book will be available in time for Christmas.
I am glad the release date is before Christmas. I know someone will give it to me as a present and usu. the DC book is my favorite present of that Christmas.
Yes, I was thinking it the date had been moved up. Smart move for Christmas presents. Can I guess that a lot of Koontzlanders will be adding this to their wishlists?

Wouldn't it be nice if some of us could get our hands on some advance copies of Innocence so we didn't have to wait? I mean, we are such devoted Koontz addicts, I don't think we should have to wait until December like normal people.
