He didn't respond, but the growl in his throat began to dissapate. His hackles stayed up, but he slowly sat down, not letting his gaze waver from her.

Josh glowered at her, but calmed down. He would have challenged her back, but with his injuries... He submitted for now, lowering onto the grass and putting his muzzle on his paws. "I-want-" His words chopped up, as if they were difficult for him to use.

"You want what?" Lena asks as she sits down still watching Josh.

Josh just blinked at her for a moment, then growled a little and shook his head. It was too difficult to use words now, and he forgot what they meant. He raised his head and turned, beginning to knaw at the bandage Lena had put on him. It was uncomfortable and strange, and he wanted it off.

Lena stood up and growled in wolf language, "Stop you fool!!" Lena stalks towards him. She being the alpha.

Josh rounded on her, but didn't try and get up. His leg hurt too badly. Instead he just flattened his ears and flashed his teeth, wanting her to just keep her distance and let him do what he wanted.

"Gnaw that off you will regret it!" Lena growls at him taking a step closer.

Josh glared at her, bristling angrily. Who was she to tell him what to do? He growled again, defiantly, and bit at his bandage; trying to tear it off.

Josh ignored her and tore the bandage off, shredding it with his teeth. Almost immediately he started to bleed again, but, stupidly, he ignored it. His eyes were bleary, and his vision was beginning to blur. A static rang in his ears and, shaking his hed slowly, staggered down onto his belly with a low whine.

"Told you!" Lena snaps at him and shifts back into a human. She puts another bandage on him.

"I told you!!!" Lena growls and slinks down to growl in his ear. "You listen to your leader!" Lena bares her teeth and stands over him. She looks down at him.

Josh, too weak to care at the moment, just focused on breathing. He blinked at her with his still human brown eyes, sadly giving up.

Lena raises her head in howl. She howls to tell other packs that there is a new danger is in the forest.

Josh shuddered and slowly tried getting to his feet. He whined a little, squeezing his eyes shut as his shoulder started to give out. He ignored her howl and leaned against the tree he was under.

Lena watches him. She smelled the air. The sun was starting to rise. She smells all of the sleeping animals slowly rising from their slumber.

Josh trembled again, feeling his skin begin to crawl again. He collapsed back to the grass and began to shift back, whining and moaning every now and then in the pain.

Lena pads over and licks his cheek. She then turns and lays and lays beneath a tree looking away.

After several moments, Josh shifted back to his human self. Panting and grimacing in pain he didn't move.

Lena jumps up into the trees and comes back out as a human. She threw a pair of basketball shorts at him. Her eyes are closed the whole time.

Pulling the short on quickly, Josh staggered to his feet red faced. Suddenly he nearly doubled over, discovering the massive wound on his shoulder. "Wh..." His eyes were wide as he fingered the bloody bandage. "L-Lena, what's th-this?"

She opens her eyes. "If I remember right we were attacked by werewolves and you got clawed or something." Lena scratches the back of her head.

Josh leered at her a bit and then turned to walk off into the woods. She was a little weird for his taste... Like really weird. He just needed to get home now and deal with this by himself.
