Lena senses Josh watching her confused but she also felt something else watching her, she just cant pick up its scent.
((Sozzy))
Josh watched her for a while longer, ears swiveling back and forth with confusion. "What are you doing?"
Josh watched her for a while longer, ears swiveling back and forth with confusion. "What are you doing?"
Lena says nothing. Se sniffs around then she can see a faint glow of wolf eyes. Her hackles raise. Lena shoots into the air and lands behind the other wolf. The wolf cackles. "Who are you?!?!" Lena snaps. In a blink of an eye the wolf disappears.
Josh jumped as she yelled, yipping in surprise. "Wh-What? Who's wha-" The he smelled it too. A wolf. His hackles slowly stood on end and a rumbling growl rose in his throat.
Lena kept her ears pricked and nose open to all scents, in case she smells the wolf again, ignoring Josh.
"Who the hell was that?" Josh growled, instinctively putting his nose to the ground to smell for the strange wolf.
Josh grimly began to sniff the ground again. After a while, he just sat down to think. "Just a wolf? Or uh, one like us? Could you tell?"
((Lol ok. Cu))

"It was just a wolf, no human scent at all." Lena says not looking at him, her ears swiveling around and she keeps looking around, alert.
Josh relaxed a little. "Okay, that's fine, then." He said, hackles lowering slowly as he reagained his sense of ground.
Josh lost interest in her after a while and nosed around the grass and the bushes. He glanced back at Lena once before walking into the bush.
Lena still looking in the direction the wolf left in. Lena hears Josh moving around but ignores it.
Josh wandered into the bush, leaving Lena behind. She was being obsessive over smelling stuff, so he didn't find the harm in exploring a bit. It's not like she was babysitting him. He walked over a fallen tree trunk, pausing to listen halfway across. Hearing nothing of importance, he kept wandering.
Lena stopped hearing Josh for awhile then turns around. He was not there!! Lena follows his scent, until she saw him and ducked down into a bush. Luckily she was downwind of him.
Josh kept walking, but paused in a clearing where the ground lit up in the suddenly open and moonlit sky. He looked up at the moon, and would have frowned if he still had the ability. This was it's fault. He lowered his eyes to the shadowy woods around him and sighed. It wasn't THAT bad being a wolf, he supposed... If it wasn' for the painful transformations, it might even be liveable. But just the thought of changing made him shudder. He decided would give up every night as a wolf readily, if he somehow had the means.
Josh jumped hard and his hackles shot up as he spun around to see the wolf. He bared his teeth, leaning away, but only slightly. Was this the wolf Lena was trying to track. He tried to communicate. Since the wolf was downwind, he wasn't able to tell for sure if it was a werewolf or not. "What do you want?" It was a shot in the dark. A 50/50 chance it would reply.
Uhhhm? Josh's ears flattened against his head warily. He began to back off, not knowing enough about wolves to fight just yet.
Lena burst out of the bush and shoves the wolf to the ground pinning him down "Who sent you?!?!?" Lena snaps
Josh sighed as he saw Lena jump out from the woods. She just couldn't let him fight his own battles, whether he wanted to or not. She was 'saving' him constantly. He walked over slowly, watching the two with care.
The wolf cackles again and shoves Lena off.
Lena flies through the air and hits a tree and falls. Lena lays limp. Lena's eyesight turns black and her hearing fails.

"L-Lena?" Josh stood frozen for a moment, staring at where she lay. Then he ran over and lowered his head, nudging her carefully. "Lena?" He could still feel the wolf around, however, so his hackles raised and his ears flattened against his head. Letting out a low growl inbetween threat and defense, he stood rigid beside her.
The wolf challenges him with a growl/cackle. "Come on you weakling, can't you fight or does you lady friend need to help you?" He cackles
Josh's growl deepened and he bared his teeth, unconsciously sizing the wolf up. "What are you?" He rumbled, taking a few steely steps towards him.
"Oh just a wolf, what are you?" He says evilly watching the other wolves pathetic steps. He is getting ready kill the wolf with one bite.
"Ready to rip your throat out," Josh snarled, only about ten feet away by now. "That's what I am. Or do you only pick fights with girls?" Somehow, he felt more confident in this body, more motivated if he was in defense mode. If it hadn't been for the other's attack on Lena, he might not be so bold.
Josh was close enough now. He braced himself, claws digging into the ground, then lunged at the wolf. He hit him head on he side, but was able to wrap his jaws around the creature's neck to get a grip.
He easily shakes Josh off. He jumps at him missing then he whips around and crashes into Josh's side nocking the wind out off him.
Josh skidded onto the ground, gasping for air. He struggled to his feet, regaining his senses before charging at the wolf again, pouncing and landing hard on his back, forcing him to the ground and holding him pinned.
Josh staggered back, panting as the wolf suddenly raced off. He stiffled a whimper as he ducked his head, feeling battle wounds scar his skin. He turned, ear perking, as he heard Lena moan. He limped over, head to the ground, and nudged her carefully.
Suddenly regretting his lack of arms, Josh helplessly watched her fail to stand. He reached out with his muzzle and gently pushed her down more securely onto the grass. "'S okay." He murmered, sitting down gingerly beside her. "You alright?"
Josh adjusted himself slightly and began to lick at the wounds on his front legs, tasting coppery blood, and somehow not finding it disgusting at all with his half-wolfish mentality.
((Aheh, Imma just going to magically give him clothes... :P ))
Josh was half asleep under the tree, just finishing turning back into a human. He was still shivering, and his cuts had reopened from the trauma to stain his shirt a wet red around the shoulder. It didn't seem to hurt him all that much however, as he looked up when he noticed Lena was awake and smiled quietly. "Hi."

"Uh, y-yeah," Josh blinked and followed her gaze. He reached up with his good arm and moved the material away gingerly to look. Maybe not so okay. "I'm fine. It's a sc...cratch." He replaced his shirt carefully. "What about y-you? He h-hit you pretty hard."
