Josh trembled for a few moments, getting control FINALLY. He looked over at Lena, then his hackles raised threateningly. He growled deeply, his husky voice coming out with rumbling a warning. Back off.
Josh growled harder, lip curling up to reveal his teeth. He stalked closer the her slowly, threat in every fiber of his new body. His memories were locked away, replaced with those of a large, frightened animal. He snapped at her feet suddenly.
Josh snarled and spun around, turning and biting at her again. This time, he caught her leg in his jaw and bit hard.
Lena turns around and bites at his face while he still has his jaws clamped on her leg. Lena stops trying to bite his face and falls limp. She crawls to little corner.
Josh bit at her violently, hackles raised as he snarled. He was about to go after her, when suddenly, his mind came rushing back. Stumbling, he shook his wolfish head, then looked over at Lena, blinking as he calmed down.
Josh took a step and fumbled slightly, not used to four legs. He looked at her, summing up and piecing together what damage he had caused. Oh no. "Lena?" He said hesitantly, his words coming in a small whine that was wolf language.
Lena flinches when he says her name, afraid he was just doing that to make her turn around and then attack.
Josh whined again, horrified by what he had done. He went down onto his belly and crawled towards her slowly. "Lena, please forgive me," He nuzzled the leg he had hurt. "I'm so sorry."
Pain shoots through Lena's leg when it was touched. Lena lets out a loud whine. Lena looks at Josh and smiles at how pathetic he looks. Lena licks at her leg the stops cause of the pain.
Lena looks at him again. Lena puts her muzzle to his ear. 'Now lets see your reaction.' Lena laughs inside as she makes a high pitched whine.
Josh jumped violently and scrambled away, his ears ringing. "Okay, maybe I deserved that..." He got up and shook himself. "I don't believe this... Look at me." Glancing at Lena, he gave her a look, ears perked forwards as he waited for her response.
Lena laughs. "Listen to a wolf and DNA." Lena smiles at him and laughs some more. Lena shifts into a human to look at her leg. Blood ran down her leg, her jean leg shredded. Lena shifts back into a wolf.
Josh's stomach tightened at the sight of her blood. "I... I didn't mean to." He said quietly, feeling terrible. "Does it hurt?" He stepped closer, sniffing her wound with his new nose before instinctively licking it.
He withdrew quickly, remembering himself as a human, not a wolf. Human's didn't lick wounds. That was gross. Somehow it didn't seem that way now, however. Josh sighed quietly. "I didn't believe you."
Josh watched her, laying down a couple feet away and wishing he could help. "You said this would happen. In the hospital. You knew. I didn't believe I would... Change."
"Well i could smell it." Lena says as she sniffs the air. "Ahhh, the smell of fresh blood." Lena jokes.
((Cu))
Josh's ears flattened against his head. "Not funny." He said darkly. "That wasn't fun. The last couple days have been hell." He yawned, flashing his canines before curling up.

Lena rolls her eyes. She starts to lick the wounds. Lena shifts back into a human and grabs some of Josh's dad's alcohol and dumps it on her bad leg. It makes a sizzling sound.
Josh eyed the bottle quietly. "I'm sorry... About that." He finally said. "I must seem pretty pathetic." Nevermind his dad, Josh had been a total mess since he had met Lena. He wasn't usually like this. Usually he had some bravery to him.
"Well if you are being choked you can't really do anything." Lena says out of gritted teeth. Lena places the bootle down. Her wound clean.
Josh watched her carefully. His ears twithed as he picked up her tone. Funny, now he was the wolf while she was the human sitting beside him. "Something wrong?" He lifted his head off his paws to look at her.
Josh snorted and looked off into the corner of the dark room with his bland eyesight. At least he didn't need glasses anymore. "Like that's ever going to happen."
"I thought you sid it didn't hurt to shift." Josh said, not accusingly, but in a way that made him sound confused.
Josh grunted and was quiet for a while. Then he got up to pad silently to the large wall of window looking into the woods beside the house. Standing there he was nothing but a black sillhouette against the deep woods, one side washed by pale light, the other stained by a shadow of darkness. He stared for a while with his wolfish attention, absorbed in thoughts and sudden longings. "I guess I deserved it." He said in a wolfish mutter, a face unable to portray emotion staring impassively into the trees. He deserved everything he got.
His tail began to swing back and forth, ears perking forawrds unconsciously at the idea of leaving his house. "Yeah. Could you, uh, get the door?"
Lena stands up and opens the door wide. "Ladies first." Lena laughs gesturing for him to go through.
Josh looked up and shot her a look as he moved past. "Just 'cause I don't have hands doesn't make me a lady." He protested, but went through anyhow. It's not like he could close the door anymore than he could open it. As soon as his paws touched the grass, an intese feeling surged through him. Josh froze, tingling in every fiber of his body.
"I'm not wearing pants." He pointed out quietly, glancing over as Lena shifted, his look almost envious. Why couldn't it be easy like that? He took a step closer the woods, but only a small one. The intincts were so intese he felt intimidated by himself all of a sudden.
"I know, it is just a saying. God you take things seriously!" Lena barks over her shoulder as she walks into the woods casually.
As soon as Lena began to lead the way, Josh followed quickly, his senses at their peak to roam the details of the trees. "Do I?"
"Sometime." Lena admits as she sniffs around. Lena scents a few wolves but they were there yesterday.
